Hello guys, what’s up? 🌱’

I’ve been a busy bee 🐝 for the past couple of days, but as per usual, here I am 🎉

Getting back to the groove ain’t no easy peasy. Unless you’re listening to this song 🎧 at the very least you’ll feel a little bit better.

Anyway, I wanted to share you guys a little something I put together and since painting nuns has been a long time thing for me (if you haven’t already check my previous blog entry here) I wanted to keep up the hype.

I painted another nun… ✝️

👩🏻‍🎨I painted it on an A5 size paper and gouache 🎨

That’s been my go to for the past year, as you may have been able to notice.

The story behind this was quite simple. I was going through my criterion collection and I remembered this movie.

It was no brainer, I had to paint something about this movie again.

I did a few years ago another portrait, but that one on pencil. Unfortunately I no longer have a photo of it.

Either way, back then when I watched the movie I was really blown away.

It was a Friday night or Saturday night, I don’t remember very well, but the feeling of loneliness, sadness and that something was taken away from me when I first watched this, is still there. Like a hole in my belly.

I truly recommend this one if you haven’t already watched it.
