Hi, what’s up guys?
I’ve been painting 🖼️ , tidying up the 🏠 , doing chores🧹 , 📑 , geez… if I had Doctor Manhattan’s super powers, I’d be good to go.
🚨 ICYMI: My last blog entry on ink 🖋️
But a girl can dream… 💭
Anyhow, I’m doing my best to the beat of this song 🎧 💃
And then I was revisiting some of the paintings I did and the theme was «movies»🍿, the technique didn’t matter, just the fact that it is a movie I enjoyed/enjoy. Probably, you may remember, I had been wanting to write a post and show those works 🖼️
So without further ado, here are some of them. 🩷
I’ve watched this movie a few times and it has never seized to amaze me, I chose this (as the rest of my paintings’ themes) for «Mab’s drawlloween club» from last year. Her work is always amazing, check her out. She does this prompt every year, and I always try to join! Maybe you could do it too this year 🎨
Another entry you might enjoy: «Black Narcissus» painting 🖼️
How could it be Halloween or Drawlloween if I didn’t paint the creature from the Black Lagoon 💚?
This was last year’s👇🏻 but you can check this from 2022, I drew it on Procreate or this one from 2021 (how time flies, uh?)
And Jesus knows I wouldn’t be complete, if it weren’t for Mary Shelley’s wonderful creation: Frankenstein.
👩🏻🎨All of them were painted with goauche on an A5 paper then I just tweaked them on procreate. 🎨 (unless stated otherwise).
As you can see, specially with Frankenstein’s painting, I thoroughly enjoy painting in layers. It’s easier, and a little bit more orthodox I guess, but mostly it lets me tweak it here and there before I actually commit to the final form.
I have so much work I want to show/sell, but organising myself can be a pain. But I’m getting better, I promise. I mean, I’m delivering more stuff over here, right? RIGHT? 🥹
Anyhow, if you want see more updates, or just check out my work, you can follow me over here, I’m way more active there than any other of my social media.
